Careers

Help make Europe's coach network visible.

For 1,802 cities across Europe, kavolu shows where you can get to from there without changing. We are a small, independent company — whoever works with us shapes what we offer from the start.

How we work

Small, independent and precise.

Independent

kavolu sells no tickets. Which connections we show, and in what order, is decided by the timetables — not by a commission.

Precise

Everything on kavolu comes from open timetable data and can be checked. Better one detail fewer than a wrong one.

Direct

Short paths and real responsibility: what you write or build is often live for everyone the next day.

Openings

Current vacancies

There are no open positions at the moment.

As soon as we are looking to fill a role, you will find it here. A speculative application is welcome at any time all the same.

Speculative application

Speculative application

You fit in with us, even without a matching vacancy?

Then get in touch. These are the areas we are most interested in:

  • Editorial

Guides, features and travel ideas for the kavolu magazine — ideally with your own experience of travelling by coach.

  • Development

Building the site further with TypeScript, React and Next.js — from search to loading speed.

  • Timetable data

Preparing and checking open timetable data (GTFS) from all over Europe.

  • Partnerships

Working with coach operators and partners who would like their connections shown on kavolu.

Process

What happens after you apply

  1. 01

    Send your application

By email to jobs@kavolu.com. No formal cover letter needed — a few honest sentences are enough.

  2. 02

    Our reply

We read every application ourselves and usually reply within two weeks.

  3. 03

    Getting to know each other

In a conversation, usually by video, we get to know each other and answer the open questions on both sides.

  4. 04

    Decision

If it works for both sides, we agree the details of working together.

How we handle your documents is set out in the “Applications” section of our privacy policy.
